Are you giving someone a new camera for a birthday or the holidays?  If so, you can give them a chance to "test drive" their new equipment by giving them an attractive Chicago Photo Safari Gift Certificate.  It is a full color certificate and makes for a great presentation.  A link will be provided to the specific gift certificate purchased, and you simply fill in the certificate code and value!  Your recipient has 13 months to choose a Safari from the entire list that appears on the website.

Note: The certificate expires 13 months from its date of issue, but the recipient will be responsible for any price increase in a particular type of Safari.   The certificate is refundable, less a 10% service charge.

Small: (Night time Safaris): Special Price:

Purchase the $99 certificate for $79

This entitles the bearer to participate in one of our popular nighttime photography training safaris such as "Chicago at Night" (offered several times monthly mid-April through the end of October).

Medium:

The $99 Basic Safari, our basic workshop, conducted many times in several venues weekly.  The safari is offered in several convenient locations around Chicago, Rockford, and Madison.  (We recommend this Safari as a prelude to any of the special-event safaris) Topics covered include holding the camera, identifying the subject, good composition, lighting, exposure control, outdoor portraiture, candids, and interior photography without flash.)

Large:

The $119 Landmark Safari, which includes the bike rental to several landmark destinations in the Chicago area.

Private Tutoring:

Individual instruction tailored to fit the specific needs of your recipient is available at a price of $170 per two-hour session, providing one-on-one instruction in such areas as travel , architectural, museum interior, event, night time, and general photography plus proper use of new camera equipment.

Our $229 jumbo package includes one $99 Basic Safari and Two hours of private tutoring. Save $40 off the regular $269 price when these are purchased together. This will give your recipient a good understanding of the camera and principals, and a separate opportunity to practice these skills in a venue chosen from several different locations around Chicago.

Purchase a Gift Certificate

  • Click on PURCHASE GIFT CERTIFICATE.  Choose the gift certificate desired, and you will receive a confirmation of purchase with a gift certificate code and a link to the specific gift certificate purchased.  The gift certificate describes the type of Safari which it covers, and includes instructions for the participant to register.

  • Print the gift certificate out on a color printer, write in the code, and give it to the recipient.  (The gift certificate looks especially nice when you print it on glossy paper!)

  • The recipient simply uses the code to sign up for any of the Safaris offered on our website ChicagoPhotoSafaris.com.  If they sign up for a different value Safari than purchased, they can pay the difference at the time of registration.
